By accessing or using Cognicat ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Cognicat is an AI-powered platform that generates personalized learning plans, curates educational resources through web research, and provides interactive quizzes to support your learning goals.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

The Service offers the following plans:

• Free Plan: 4 learning plans per month and 10 quizzes at no cost.
• Starter Plan: 300 tokens per month at $3/month with unlimited plans and quizzes.
• Pro Plan: 1,000 tokens per month at $10/month with all features and priority support.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
• Use the Service to generate harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our prior written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Cognicat. Content generated through the Service (learning plans, quizzes) is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Resources curated by the Service link to third-party content, which remains the property of its respective owners.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Learning plans, resource recommendations, and quizzes are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. The Service is intended as a learning aid and should not be relied upon as the sole source of information for critical decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cognicat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
